To be exact, over 75 percent of Iran is urbanised and, it doesn’t get more urban than Tehran, Iran’s dynamic and relatively liberal capital city, with a population 15 Million. The cities of Mashhad, Isfahan, Tabriz and Shiraz follow in terms of size and population and each offers a wonderful blend of history and modernity.
