VISIT IRAN

*NB below was written prior to 2022 uprisings and protests so please check latest travel advice with your respective government.

————

It’s safer than you think! In 2019 the reputable global risk experts and consultants International SOS and Control Risk Group released a Travel Risk Map of the world showing Iran as ‘low risk’ and as safe to travel to as Canada, New Zealand, Australia, the UK and Denmark! Even the consequent spike in Persian Gulf tensions, followed by the global COVID-19 pandemic, cannot detract from the reality that Iran fares particularly better than America and many European states when it comes to the risk of terror attacks (very rare), or petty and violent crime. Of course, you should seek the most up-to date advice of your given government about travel to Iran but if you do decide to go, don’t say you were not wanted about the dangerously excessive amounts of history, world heritage architecture, delicious food and hospitality…
